Oct. 4th in The New Factories(同乐坊)

i went to the jazz festival(爵士同乐) with some old and unknow friends...Tiffany~hmm always! i found the music there is not my taste but the way of hanging out with her is. i like goin to some fresh place which i'v never been to. bars, coffee shop, anywhere... but these places are kinda expensive to me...a student has to pay 30 RMB just for one cup of coffee! we sat down and talked freely, sharing experiences in college~ Oh, there was a DIY market (创意市集)in the New Facrories. things being sold were cute and cool! i bought a "i love NY" logo stick and a notebook with On The Road theme. it was really a good time. 
   

 
i made a new friend who's from England accidentally. i was standing in an empty restaurant with beautiful decoration, waiting for Tiffany and he showed up saying hi to me... so we chatted.. in English. it's not easy to understand him because of his British accent. i knew from him that he was going to the Yue Festival too. cool~

Oct.5th in Zhongshan Park

 
only 2 ppl Elf and i go to the Yue Festival together. so there wasn't much fun between friends talkin. anyway, we still had an awesome day! we sat in McDonald's and guest what? we found the guitarist from Banana Monkey! We are huge fans of them! and we went up to him even though we dunno his name... we just cared about where'r Linfeng(the bassist) and Bono(singer)... (then i met the English friend in McDonald's... kinda coincidence.) Elf and i found Linfeng in front of the park entrance!!! 2 little girls...haha...becoming exercited, started to foto him secretly~ dia!

the aim we go to Yue is to see the rock shows! except Banana Monkey, now i love two more bands-- Super VC(果味VC) and Hedgehog(刺猬). the leading guitarist and the bassist from Super VC are ~ handsome~ can't help loving them! especially the guitarist! he was so active on stage, totally put himself into the music. i love his smile and movements when playing guitar spiritedly! Hedgehog is a cute band~ with a cute girl drummer. She sings the back vocal beautifully and plays drum powerfully. Later i bought a Hedgehog's CD, and took a photo with them~ whoa~ so exercited!

the music festival on grass was just like a mini Midi Festival. the difference is it's a festival without many Chinese bands but with so many foreign visitors. Look around, almost all white ppl. i'v never seen so much foreigners in Shanghai! foreigners are crazy when the shows going on. daytime they are normal but At night, all i can see is beer in hand, cigarette smoke in the air, hands held up high, waving body and head, loud talking and laughing and yelling in super loud music... they're so passionate and energetic! it was just like an open-air bar, filled with crazy foreigners and hiphop or electrical music...

It was a great day! from 1 pm to 9 pm, music keep playing, Elf and me stood in our Converse, jumped, sat on grass, enjoyed ourself so fuckin much! HOPE next year, more Chinese ppl come, more friends come together~
